Welcome to SPT

 The Society of Photo-Technologist / SPT is non-profit international organization of individual technicians and camera repair businesses.  

Although SPT is geared toward professional camera repair, we have been the entry point for amateur’s and enthusiasts with an interest in camera repair for over 58 years.  SPT was founded with the idea of sharing information and skills to help develop the talents of everybody with an interest in repairing cameras.

SPT's membership is made up small, medium and large business but also includes many individuals.  Anyone involved in the camera repair field.  It's both a great hobby and profession.

Membership dues are based on a 12 month cycle.  The level and cost of membership depends on the size of the business.  Individuals utilize SPT less then larger shops and membership dues range accordingly.  Many members choose a Sustaining Membership in support of SPT.  The bulk of our members retain their SPT membershiop throughout their lifetimes, we are a community.
