This feature allows you to adjust the lightmeter readout and consequently all auto and program exposures.  Although there is only one adjustment with a little experience you will find that you can affect linearity to a degree.



Procedure:
•    Check the camera’s lightmeter readout.  Adjust if necessary.

•    Use the scroll arrows to make changes.  Changing the AE Shift window in either direction enables the ‘Change’ button.
•    Click ‘Change’ to write your correction to the camera.


Windows
•    AE Shift.  Displays the amount of correction.


Buttons

Change
If AE Shift is set to 0.000EV the Change button is disabled.  When you input an adjustment the Change button is activated.  Clicking the Change button when active writes your change into the camera.
